ABOUT THE FREE MONTHLY DRAWING
Last month I made a mention of the Free Monthly Drawing in the first sentence of my newsletter. Afterwards, I got so many emails from folks asking how to enter the drawing (I had assumed all these years that everyone knew how to enter!) that I decided to talk a little bit about the Free Drawing.
The Free Monthly Drawing has been available every month since the very first newsletter came out in September 2000. Local businesses offer a gift certificate, product, or service in return for getting the promotion on my website and in the newsletter. Entries come to me directly and I save all entries in a separate folder on my computer. At the end of the month, I use a random number generator program to select a number between 1 and the number of submissions (usually around 100.) Then, I just count down from the top of my list (in order by date submitted) and let the winner know that he/she has won. I am very ethical about this - you have to just trust me on this one. In seven and a half years I think there has only been one person to win more than once!
To enter the FREE DRAWING, all you have to do is go to the home page - www.ILoveNewHope.com - and scroll down a bit and enter your information. Good Luck!!!
One comment I will make is that I always wonder about the people who enter who live far away - like Californina or Michigan. I don't know why they would enter a drawing that offers services for the New Hope / Lambertville area only. FYI, when that has happened in the past, more often than not the winner suggests I select someone else.

MAINE AGAIN
Some of you may know that I have been working on a book for several years. (I will share more about this sometime soon.) The problem is that I can't seem to find time to work on it. I know, I know - I have talked to other writers and they all say that I have to TAKE the time each day to work on it.
Well, the problem is - that has just NOT been happening! AND I have set the end of April as my target date to complete the book.
So, in order to guess where I am going in April?! Yep, you got it - Maine! I have written many times about my trips to Maine - I guess you all know how much I love it there. It will be quiet this time of year and I hope to get lots of work done. Send me your good wishes.
