2004 Newsletter
______________ JANUARY THOUGHTS I had the flu over the holidays! On Christmas Day especially, I had to let go a lot of "shoulds" and "have to's" and just let my body rest.(My poor husband George ate leftovers for dinner!) I am firmly convinced that our bodies offer us a wealth of information if we would only pay attention. My goal this year is to pay closer attention to what my body is telling me.... Do I hear a little voice saying "Don't even THINK about eating those left over Christmas cookies." Hmmmmmm, this may be harder than I thought! ______________ CAN-SPAM Some of you may be aware of a new anti-spam legislation called CAN-SPAM. Let's hope this legislation will protect us all from unwanted emails! The legislation significantly penalizes folks who send unsolicited email and who don't offer an opt-out option in their newsletters. FYI, for this monthly email, I use a service called Ezine Director which requires that every email sent out is to someone who has requested a subscription to the ezine. Ezine Director also offers an opt-out option at the bottom of each newsletter. Of course, I hope you will not choose to opt-out but it is important for you to know that you always have the choice to do that. Remember that I always appreciate feedback regarding the website and the monthly newsletter.
