JUNE 2011 NEWSLETTER In this issue:
______________ A FAMILY OF WEBSITES Within the past week I have been in three meetings related to New Hope and/or Lambertville related websites. Oddly enough, none of the meetings was about my website (www.ILoveNewHope.com / www.ILoveLambertville.com.) Last week I met with Jack Mikula who runs the Bucks County Alive series of websites (www.BucksCountyAlive.com). You may not know it but he provides the Calendar Listing service on my site, so that you can get New Hope and Lambertville listings AND all of Bucks County if you select that option. Yesterday I met with Louis Licitra (President) and Stephanie Nagy (the one who answers the phone and keeps things going smoothly!) of the New Hope Chamber. We were looking at the new, as yet unlaunched, website for the New Hope Chamber of Commerce (www.VisitNewHope.com). The new site will be oriented towards visitors to New Hope. The older site (www.NewHopeChamber.com) will stay in place but be meant mostly for Chamber members. (More about this to come.) FYI, BadCat Design developed both sites. Kel and his team do such a great job! Finally, last evening I was at a Lambertville Chamber meeting where members purchased banner ads for the website www.Lambertville.org. Ellen Pineno at the Lambertville Chamber does a fabulous job of running the Chamber activities - and lots more! Also a short plug for The Missing Peace in Lambertville - a great games store with neat stuff for ALL ages! Tell Heather that Marilyn sent you!
Since we are a tourist destination, I am convinced that having multiple websites is a really good thing! However, although each website seems to have its own niche, I am undecided as to how to tweak my site moving forward. So, as I have done in the past, I am asking for YOUR INPUT!
Send me an email with your comments and suggestions - editor@bullockmarketing.com. It is time for me to do some updating and increasing the listings for my site. IT"S FREE! If you are a local business owner, don't forget that you get a free listing if you have a New Hope or Lambertville address. Just go to List With Us at the top of any page on the site and download the application form. ______________ BUCKS COUNTY HERALD ON-LINE As I mentioned last month, if you go to the website, you will notice a new link in the right-hand column. I have put a link to the Bucks County Herald's digital edition of their newspaper. Sometimes I get phone or email requests from people out of state looking for information on people, events, real estate, and other issues. The Herald is a great resource for these items. And you can view issues as far back as 2003! ______________ FIND US ON FACEBOOK Go to: Please "LIKE" us and feel free to add your own thoughts and photos from your visits and wanderings about Lambertville and New Hope! ______________ UPCOMING EVENTS
